Bresaola

Bresaola is a typical product of Valtellina region and it is made by processing cuts of beef leg: it is the only cold cut of Italian kitchen to be obtained from beef meat.

Its taste ranges from sweet to savoury , while the texture remains soft and compact. Bresaola has an almost total absence of fat, so it is a high nutritional contribution food, due to the high protein content.
